Free High-Demand Training

RTO 9 is supporting tourism and hospitality job-seekers, workers and employers by providing access to training and learning opportunities that focus on high-demand workplace skills. For a limited time, a selection of carefully curated on-demand courses can be taken advantage of for FREE.

Who is this for?

Courses are suitable for people interested in joining the tourism industry, current employees who would like to improve their knowledge and upskill, and those planning a return to work.

How does it work?

Please review the menu of courses and their descriptions and follow the links to our partners’ websites. All listed course costs are covered by RTO 9. Free access is open for a limited time and spaces are capped so please register and complete your course today!

Employers and employees living, working, or searching for employment in the South Eastern Ontario region are eligible for these free courses.

Is it free?

There is no cost to participants for the courses listed. Payments made for other courses will not be reimbursed.

Hospitality & Tourism: Industry Fundamentals

Learn about the importance of tourism to the local economy. What are the connections between businesses, the local economy, and the larger tourism industry?
