Regional Tourism Organization 9 (RTO 9) Call for Board of Directors applications
The application period for the RTO 9 Board of Directors will be from April 4 – May 2, 2025!
Regional Tourism Organization 9 Board of Directors is structured to represent geographic areas within the Southeastern Ontario region and is balanced by the experience and skills that the Board of Directors bring to the table. While all experience/skillsets will be considered, we are specifically in need of Legal, Accounting, Transportation, Digitization, Automation, Connectivity, and Human Resources, and would welcome applicants with this experience.
We believe that this focus on experience/skillsets brings a diversity of perspectives and experiences that provide the organization with a full picture of the future and reflect who our residents are and who our visitors will be. Each candidate should select their director position based on the location of their employment within the Southeastern Ontario region. To confirm which region you are in click on the Map.
The six (6) individual director positions to be filled at the 2025 AGM are:
- Two (2) positions from the West region, (one-one-year term and one- three-year term)
- Two (2) positions from the East region, (one – two-year term and one three-year term)
- One (1) position from the Central region, (three-year term)
- One (1) position At Large, (three-year term)
Successful applicants will be announced at RTO 9’s AGM on June 13th, 2025, and must be able to attend the mandatory board training and retreat day in Kingston on June 20th, 2025. Registration for RTO 9’s AGM is now open.
Candidates interested in one of these six positions are encouraged to fill out the 2025 RTO 9 Board Application Form and submit a resume for consideration. Shortlisted applicants will be contacted for an interview after the closing date. Learn more and apply here!
